Throne Kingdom at War beginner guide
I have played Throne Kingdom at War for a couple of months. I started several accounts throughout this time period testing different starting strategies and learning the tips and tricks needed to maintain your army. This is a Throne Kingdom at War Beginner's guide based around not spending any real life money.
To start off I want to stress a few things. You want to get your basic build as strong as possible before the 3 days of protection are up. So I will stress maximizing certain skills and building as quickly as possible. You also do not want to draw attention to yourself and be a target so you will want to avoid confrontations. You will also want to join an order as soon as possible to get the help bonuses, make friends and to start getting points to use in the store.
After completing the tutorial you will want to focus on several buildings. You will first want to make 4 of each resource building to complete the quest. You will also want to build 2-3 infirmary and 4 barracks. The rest of the available spots for (Houses,Infirmary,Barracks) should be dedicated to houses. This is because houses give a bonus to training troops faster and as a side bonus you collect silver. More houses means you will train troops much faster. You wont really ever need more than 4 barracks since you will be able to train a lot of troops after you max these plus research the troop limit study. Infirmary only helps if you troops get attacked at your OWN castle. With 2-3 maxed infirmary, you will likely never lose more troops than you can heal.
Make sure to join an order quickly. Either ask in the general chat if anyone will take you in, or visit the order tab and select an order that is your preferred language and is open, or send a request to a closed order. After joining an order make sure to always click the help button to help other order members. Not only does this help them out, but you get order points to spend in the store to get great items. Being in an order also allows you to attack assailants and get nice loot.
Make sure you are training troops every chance you get. I recommend starting with rams as these have the highest capacity to carry resources. Make sure to constantly hit resource tiles. You want to always have at least 4 actions going. Construction, Study, Training and either marching or yielding resource. You should never have a time where all 4 actions are not going, except when you quit playing for extended amounts of time.
In Throne Kingdom at War resource tiles give different rewards and yield faster depending on there level. The higher the level, the faster they yeild and the better the rewards. Level 1-3 tiles generally get bonus resources, and 1,3,5 or 10 minute speed ups. Level 4-6 give much betters. Level 4 resource tiles give 10,15 and even 60 minute boost. They also give 25k and 75k resource bonuses. Level 5 and 6 resource tiles are where the rewards become interesting. Level 5 resource tiles give mostly 60 minute boost and 25k or 75K resource bonuses. But they can sometimes give 3 hour boost. Level 6 resource tiles also give 60 minute boost but give 3 hour boost more often and can even give 100 stamina to hero rewards. These are great for killing assailants. Every once in a while level 6 resource tiles will give a 250k resource bonus as well. You also have about a 15% chance of getting crafting materials when you do resource nodes. So you should always try to finish off the highest level resource tile you can find.
As your hero gains level I recommend you put a few points into studying and a few into building. Then work your way down the left side till you get to troop training. Max out Troop Training as soon as possible. This will greatly speed up your army production. The more people in your army, the more resources you can yield.
More to come.....
